Ingredients

Chicken wings
1 kg
Coca-Cola (regular, not diet)
330 ml (1 can)
Soy sauce
4 tbsp
Garlic
3 cloves, minced
Fresh ginger
1 tsp, grated
Sriracha or any hot chili sauce
1 tbsp
Vegetable oil
1 tbsp
Salt & black pepper
to taste

Instructions

1

Prep the Wings:
Dry the chicken wings thoroughly with paper towels. Cut them into drumettes and flats, discarding the tips. Season lightly with salt and black pepper.
2

Sear the Wings:
Heat vegetable oil in a large deep skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Sear the wings for about 4–5 minutes on each side until they develop a nice golden brown crust.
3

Pour the Sauce:
Pour the can of Coca-Cola, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and hot sauce directly into the skillet with the wings. Stir well to combine.
4

Simmer and Reduce:
Bring the liquid to a boil, then reduce the heat to medium-low. Simmer uncovered for about 30–35 minutes, stirring occasionally. The cola and soy sauce will slowly reduce, turning into a thick, dark, and incredibly glossy sticky glaze that coats the wings.
5

Serve:
Once the glaze is thick and coats the wings completely, transfer them to a platter. Serve hot while the glaze is warm and sticky!
