Ingredients

Chicken wings
1 kg
Honey (liquid)
3 tbsp
Dijon or Smooth Mustard
2 tbsp
Soy sauce
2 tbsp
Vegetable oil
1 tbsp
Garlic powder
1 tsp
Salt, black pepper
to taste

Instructions

1

Prep the Wings:
Rinse the chicken wings and pat them completely dry with paper towels to ensure a crispy texture. Cut each wing into drumettes and flats (discard the tips).
2

Marinate:
In a large bowl, whisk together the liquid honey, mustard, soy sauce, vegetable oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until completely smooth. Toss the wings in the marinade, coat thoroughly, and let them rest at room temperature for 30 minutes.
3

Bake:
Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the wings in a single layer. Keep the remaining marinade in the bowl. Bake the wings for 25 minutes.
4

Glaze for a Glossy Finish:
Take the wings out and generously brush them with the leftover honey-mustard mixture. Return to the oven for another 15 minutes. The honey will caramelize, creating a rich, golden-amber glossy glaze just like in the picture.
5

Serve:
Transfer the hot wings to a platter and serve immediately with an extra bowl of smooth honey-mustard sauce on the side for dipping.
