Ingredients

Chicken drumsticks
8-10 pieces
Olive oil or melted butter
3 tbsp
Grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup
Panko breadcrumbs
1/2 cup
Garlic powder
2 tsp
Minced fresh garlic
2 cloves
Italian seasoning (or oregano)
1 tsp
Paprika
1 tsp
Salt and black pepper
To taste
Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
1 tbsp

Instructions

1

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or place an oven-safe wire rack over the sheet for extra crispiness.
2

Pat the chicken drumsticks completely dry with paper towels to ensure the coating adheres well and gets crispy.
3

In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil or melted butter and fresh minced garlic. Brush this mixture generously over all sides of each drumstick.
4

In a large shallow bowl or Ziploc bag, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
5

Roll each garlic-basted drumstick in the Parmesan-breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently with your hands so the crust adheres thickly to all sides.
6

Arrange the coated drumsticks in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet or rack, leaving space between each piece.
7

Bake in the preheated oven for 35–40 minutes, or until the exterior is deeply golden brown and crispy, and the internal temperature reaches 74°C (165°F).
8

Remove from the oven, let rest for 5 minutes, then garnish with fresh chopped parsley and extra grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
