Ingredients

Chicken wings
1 kg
Fresh cilantro
1 cup, finely chopped
Lime juice
4 tbsp
Lime zest
1 tbsp
Olive oil
2 tbsp
Garlic
4 cloves, finely minced
Honey
1 tbsp
Cumin powder
1 tsp
Salt, freshly ground black pepper
1 tsp
Lime slices & fresh cilantro leaves
for garnish

Instructions

1

Prep the Wings;
Pat the chicken wings completely dry with paper towels. Divide them into flats and drumettes, discarding the tips.
2

Make the Marinade;
In a large bowl, whisk together the lime juice, lime zest, olive oil, minced garlic, honey, cumin, salt, black pepper, and half of the chopped cilantro.
3

Marinate;
Add the wings to the bowl and toss thoroughly until every wing is coated in the herb-citrus mixture. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for maximum flavor).
4

Bake;
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the wings in a single layer, discarding excess marinade. Bake for 35–40 minutes, flipping once halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
5

Garnish and Serve;
Transfer the hot wings to a serving platter. Immediately sprinkle them with the remaining fresh chopped cilantro and decorate the platter with fresh lime slices, just like in the photo. Serve hot!
